Example Itinerary

We work with you to develop your perfect trip. Below, you’ll find an example itinerary that we have designed for a UK party who are coming to Cambodia during 2020 for a fortieth birthday adventure.

Please note that certain activities are available at certain times of the year due to our dry and rainy season. The ideal time to visit us is between November and April.

Day 1: Arrival day in Siem Reap

A driver will greet you at Siem Reap international airport and drive you to our joining hotel where your tour leader will be waiting for you in the lobby.

This evening the group will meet up for a tour briefing, before heading into town for our first meal together.

Day 2: Siem Reap Angkor Temple Tour

One of Southeast Asia’s premier attractions is the archaeological zone of ancient temples around Siem Reap, often simply referred to by the name of the most famous temple, Angkor Wat. Our journey through Cambodia begins today with a tour of some of the more impressive of these temples including, but by no means limited to, the dramatic Ta Phrom, which remains entangled in jungle undergrowth, the richly decorated Bayon with its intricate stone carvings, and of course Angkor Wat itself.

Day 3: Siem Reap to Tonle Sap Lake.

A longer ride out today introduces us to rural Cambodia as we cycle on unsealed paths and tracks to Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, Tonle Sap. Along the way we pass through small villages, where excited children greet us with enthusiastic waves and cheer. Arriving at Tonle Sap we have time to explore a floating village, complete with school and fish farm, before the transfer back to Siem Reap.

Day 4: Siem Reap to Kulen Mountain (Trekking: appro. 14km)

After breakfast, 7:30am your guide and driver will welcome and pick up you from the hotel to Kulen Mountain bottom. We then start trekking up the mountain slope toward a pagoda where there’s the standing Buddha statue on the water spring; then we take a break, water and Landscape view of panoramic. Then continue trekking through the forest in order to visit the riverbed carving of thousand LINGAS (dedicated to the God Shiva), Bat cave (where the bat living) and Srah Domrei (Elephant pond) that’s the hidden jungle secrete shrine of Khmer belief and the famous place of Kulen national park. Overnight at the Camping site in tent and enjoy your BBQ dinner around the elephant pond in the jungle.

Day 5: Kulen Mountain to Siem Reap (Trek 16km)

After breakfast from the jungle camping site, we then continue 16km trekking toward the finish point at Waterfall. On the track we will pass and visit Srah Domrei (Elephant pound), Domrei Krab temple, O’ Pha-Ong temple, Seima Bram Bei Tuesh (8 Magic Posts), Reclining Buddha, and visit or enjoy the waterfall. We then get on car and drive downhill back to town.

Day 6: Siem Reap Cooking Class.

Leave the hotel in the morning. start to visit a local product market after group briefing, then transfer you to where we start our Khmer food lesson.

Return to the hotel after lunch.

Day 7: Free Day in Siem Reap.

            Free on you own

Day 8: Siem Reap Flight home.

            Transfer to the airport
